Bright Minds
After-School Program
Bright Minds is an experiential financial literacy and personal development program that helps children build a healthy relationship with money by starting with something even more fundamental: how they understand themselves, their value, and their choices.
Financial decisions don’t begin with numbers alone. They are influenced by our beliefs, emotions, experiences, culture, environment, and the messages we receive about money and success. Bright Minds helps children begin recognizing these influences while developing the knowledge and skills to make increasingly thoughtful decisions.
The program connects financial education with self-awareness, emotional regulation, value creation, and future thinking. Students learn practical concepts such as spending, saving, investing, needs and wants, and entrepreneurship while developing a deeper understanding of the thinking and decision-making behind those choices.
At the heart of Bright Minds is a foundational belief:
A child’s worth is not determined by how much they have.
Money is introduced as a tool—one that can be understood, managed, and used with intention. Children are encouraged to recognize that their ideas, talents, creativity, time, and ability to contribute also have value.
Bright Minds builds the foundation for children to understand themselves, understand money, create value, and make choices with greater awareness and confidence.
